Empowering Cybersecurity for All
Cyber Secure Outreach, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is dedicated to enhancing cybersecurity awareness, education, and protection for underrepresented communities, small businesses, and non-profit organizations. Our goal is to create a safer digital environment by providing accessible resources, training, and support.
Niharika Kalkeri is the founder of Cyber Secure Outreach, a nonprofit focused on educating vulnerable populations, especially seniors, about cybersecurity. Currently studying Information Science at Montgomery College, she combines academic knowledge with practical cybersecurity experience to make a meaningful impact in her community.
With certifications in CompTIA Security+ and Network+, as well as hands-on experience in digital forensics, network security, and penetration testing, Niharika is passionate about using her skills to protect others from online threats. She recognizes the growing risks of the digital world and is committed to empowering individuals to stay safe.
Niharika Kalkeri and her team help deliver and present educational materials to over 100 individuals yearly. They lead outreach efforts at senior centers and community organizations, working to bridge the knowledge gap and provide vulnerable populations with the tools and understanding needed to navigate the digital landscape safely.
We empower people to use technology safely. As digital platforms like online banking grow, tech’s complexity makes users vulnerable to cyber threats. This initiative raises awareness, educates, and promotes best practices, helping individuals protect themselves in an increasingly connected world.
We provide tailored cybersecurity education to seniors and other vulnerable populations, helping them recognize online threats, avoid scams, and stay safe in the digital world.
Each year, we design and deliver interactive lectures and materials to over 100 individuals, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to protect themselves online.
Our team actively visits community centers, senior centers, and local organizations to bring cybersecurity awareness directly to those who need it most.

Cybercrime refers to criminal activity that is carried out using the internet or other digital communication technologies. It includes a range of illegal activities such as hacking, phishing, identity theft, and fraud.
Cyber Secure Outreach offers a range of services such as network security, data encryption, vulnerability assessments, and security consulting to ensure that your digital assets are safe and secure. Our team of experts works closely with you to assess your security needs and develop a customized plan that fits your unique requirements.
Two-factor authentication is a security measure that requires users to provide two forms of identification to access their accounts. Enabling 2FA adds an extra layer of security, making it significantly harder for cybercriminals to gain unauthorized access. We encourage everyone to activate two-factor authentication to better protect their personal and professional accounts from cyber threats.
We equip instructors with essential cybersecurity skills through courses, hands-on practice, and certification exams. Funding is crucial to cover these resources, enabling instructors to gain expertise and earn industry-recognized certifications. This investment ensures they’re well-prepared to educate others and strengthen cybersecurity awareness in their communities.
Funding supports the development of educational workshops by covering materials, expert instructors, and venue costs. These workshops teach people to recognize cyber threats, secure personal data, and practice safe online habits, empowering communities to protect themselves from cybercrimes in an increasingly digital world.
Funding is needed to provide in-person support and resources, allowing us to directly assist individuals in securing their personal information and protecting themselves from cybercrimes. These funds cover travel, materials, and expert guidance, ensuring we can reach and educate communities on essential cybersecurity practices.
Every individual faces unique cybersecurity challenges. Reach out to us, and we’ll help you stay informed and protected.
